Robyn D. Buck is Senior Assistant General Counsel – Litigation at Bayer. During her 8+ years at Bayer, she has managed internal and external legal teams in high-stakes, complex litigation such as the ongoing Roundup mass tort litigation, as well as advised executive clients on a variety of legal and business issues. She has years of professional experience in life sciences/chemical industries litigation, with a focus on mass tort/product liability actions, complex commercial class actions, risk identification and mitigation, and alternative dispute resolution. She is devoted to building cross-functional, energized and diverse workspaces and teams.
Robyn grew up in southern Illinois just outside of St. Louis. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, Order of the Woolsack, from St. Louis University School of Law, as well as both a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Central Missouri State University, summa cum laude. Before joining Monsanto/Bayer, Robyn spent over 16 years at Husch Blackwell LLP in St. Louis, where she was a litigation partner/trial attorney in the Mass Tort & Product Liability group.
In her free time, she enjoys sports (whether watching her two boys play baseball, football, basketball or otherwise, or the Cardinals, Blues, Chiefs and Mizzou), traveling (particularly adding National Parks to the family list), music, and spending time with family and friends. She lives in St. Louis with her husband, two teenage sons, and two stray rescue dogs.
